DESCRIPTION:The QCB Collaboratory presents the ‘Careers in Biotechnology for Bachelor’s and Master’s students ’ workshop. Moderated by our Director\, Dr. Matteo Pellegrini\, this workshop features former members of the QCB community who are now working professionally in private industry. During this workshop\, we will cover topics such as pathways for undergraduates and masters’ degree students who may be interested in careers in computational biology in general. Participants who enroll to this workshop will be ask to contribute a question for our panelist. \nThe Collaboratory\, a central component of the Institute for Quantitative & Computational Biosciences (QCB)\, brings together experimental and computational biologists for collaboration and skill development. By teaching workshops and providing expert consulting\, Collaboratory fellows have enabled hundreds of experimentalists that include contemporary genomic technologies in their research\, and make novel discoveries.
