UCLA Collaboratory Fellow Award Program
The Collaboratory Fellow Award program is a prestigious funding mechanism available to postdocs and project scientists conducting research in computational biology and bioinformatics.
Postdoctoral fellow awards are given to a select group of scientists who have expert bioinformatics skills, a track record in collaboration and mentoring, and an aptitude and interest in developing further teaching experience.
The Collaboratory Fellow Award responsibilities are designed to provide career development opportunities that are complementary to those of their host laboratory, namely in developing a collaborative network and broadening research impact and training; and also in developing a track-record in teaching. Fellow Awards are typically in the amount of $12,500 and made for a renewable six-month period according to the University fiscal year calendar (Jan 1 – Jun 30; Jul 1 – Dec 31).
As of October 17, 2019, we are accepting applications for the January 1, 2019 to June 30, 2019 6-month period!
The application deadline is Friday, November 30, 2018.
